In addition to the main activity of lending library material, it hosts literary evenings, story-telling hours, reading hours for special needs individuals, lectures, exhibitions, book clubs, and also maintains a local collection department. Participating in a number of Slovene and European lifelong learning projects, the library features a lifelong learning point, which provides free Internet access, as well as language, computer, and other courses."
